Boomerang Calendar works with Gmail and Google Apps accounts and is available for Google Chrome and Firefox web browsers. You can install it by clicking the Download button.
Once installed, Boomerang Calendar highlights dates and times in your emails based on your Google Calendar availability. Click the plus (+) next to a highlighted time to add an event to your calendar.
From the 'Compose' or 'Reply' window, click the link under the Subject field to open the Suggest Meeting widget.
When suggesting a meeting or adding an event, you can select multiple time zones in the Boomerang Calendar widget to check availability across different time zones.
After entering 2 or more email addresses in 'Compose' or 'Reply', click the link on your toolbar. A pop-up will appear with your calendar events. Click and drag to select times, add a location (optional), then click 'Generate Email Template'.
Open Google Calendar, click the down-arrow next to the calendar you want to share, select 'Share this calendar', enter the email address of the person you want to share with, choose a permission level, then click 'Add'.
Yes, Boomerang Calendar supports Google Apps Mail and hosted domains. If you encounter an error about 'single sign-in feature is disabled', you may need to enable 'Federated Login' in your Google Apps settings as an administrator.
To uninstall Boomerang Calendar, first remove the plug-in from your browser (Chrome or Firefox). Then, revoke Boomerang Calendar's access to your data by going to your Google Account Settings, selecting 'Authorizing applications and sites', and clicking 'Revoke Access' next to boomerangcalendar.baydin.com.
