If you set up a recovery email address when you first used Private Photo Vault, you can recover your password. If not, you can try entering your password incorrectly 8 times in a row to trigger a recovery prompt. For album passwords, enter the incorrect password 5 times to recover it.

You can transfer your data using Cloud Vault (recommended) or iTunes Backup. For Cloud Vault, enable it in Settings, log in on your new device, and restore your backup. For iTunes, back up your old phone to iTunes and restore from that backup on your new phone.

When your subscription expires, you will see an 'Expiration' screen where you can renew or switch to the free Basic version. Switching to Basic removes Cloud Backup but keeps your photos accessible in the app.

Yes, Private Photo Vault uses AES 256-bit encryption to protect your data. If you enable Cloud Vault, your data is fully encrypted before upload, ensuring no one, including the developers, can view it.
