To enable audio transcription, create a new meta profile in your Ziggeo application and apply it to your video recorder by adding the meta-profile parameter. Videos tagged with this meta profile will be automatically transcribed after recording.
Ziggeo supports the following languages for audio transcription: Dutch (nl-NL), English US (en-US), English UK (en-UK), French (fr-FR), German (de-DE), Italian (it-IT), Portuguese Brazil (pt-BR), Spanish Spain (es-ES), and Spanish Latin America (es-LA). By default, US English is assumed.
Audio transcriptions are not shown as subtitles by default. To display them, you need to add the audio-transcription-as-subtitles (boolean) parameter to your video player embedding.
If set to 'auto', the first language recognized in the video will be used for the entire transcription process. It does not transcribe all languages found within the video.
Yes, Ziggeo offers secure private video submissions where videos remain private and can only be shared with those who have permission. You can also tag or rate videos via the dashboard for better management.
Yes, Ziggeo is an approved add-on to Heroku and has fully integrated with it. All Ziggeo functionality can be obtained through Heroku.
Ziggeo requires no app downloads for video recording or uploading. It supports WebRTC/HTML5 with Flash as a fallback, ensuring compatibility across all devices and browsers.
