Yeelight Blue

The yeelight blue is a smart phone controlled bulb that uses Bluetooth 4.0, eliminating the need for additional devices like a control box. It features white and RGB LED, allowing you to change color and brightness. You can also set scenes with photos or music, and new features are added through app upgrades.

The 1st generation uses Zigbee and requires a box to act as a bridge, while the blue edition uses Bluetooth, making it simpler to set up and use.

To start using the yeelight blue, screw in the bulb, turn on the power, download the app from the App Store, and run the app with Bluetooth turned on.

If the app cannot find the bulb, make sure it is powered on, check if your fixture is made of metal (as metal can weaken the signal), and ensure no other mobile device is connected to the bulb.

The LED bulb will generate heat when powered on, so it should not be installed in a closed space to allow for proper heat dissipation. The bulb also has a feature to protect it from overheating by lowering brightness or automatically turning off if it gets too hot.

Unstable wireless connections can occur due to older versions of iOS (5.x). It is recommended to upgrade to a newer version (6.x or later) for more stable performance.
