WriteNext helps you separate your writing environment from distractions, allowing you to focus better. It also helps you track your writing progress, set personal goals, and stay engaged throughout the process.
To start using WriteNext, simply click the Write button. This will take you to your Writer Profile where you can begin writing.
You can customize your daily writing goals in your account. There are two types of goals: the word goal (minimum number of words you want to write daily) and the time goal (minimum time you want to allocate for writing). The default word goal is 500 words.
The writing score is a quick indicator of your writing habit. It is based on three factors: the number of words you've written today, the amount of time you've spent writing today, and your current writing streak (consecutive days of writing).
In 'no distractions' mode, the browser goes into fullscreen mode, hiding all other tabs and buttons. This leaves only the writing area visible, helping you stay focused.
Your writings are private and can only be accessed by you. The text is encrypted using AES-256 before being stored on servers, and the encryption key is not stored with the content, ensuring your writings remain secure even in case of a data leak.
Yes, your writing is automatically saved as you type, so you don't have to worry about losing your work.
