Unlike other Vultr Cloud Compute plans, which cap charges at 672 hours per month, Vultr VX1 products are billed for the actual number of hours in each calendar month.

All servers on your account are billed hourly. The amount of hours billed in the month varies based on the product category. GPU servers and VX1™ Cloud Compute instances are billed at the industry-standard 730-hour month, which is then calculated to the number of hours in the month. All other servers are billed and capped at 672 hours per month.

If you upgrade your server to a larger plan during a billing cycle, your invoice will show separate line items for each plan. Each plan is billed at its hourly rate for the time it was active. While your invoice may show more than 672 hours across line items due to the split, the total billed hours will never exceed the actual hours in the month.
