Initial sync can take time, especially on slow WiFi. Ensure you're signed in to the same iCloud account on both devices, iCloud Drive is enabled, and you have enough Cloud Drive storage. If issues persist, disable Cloud Sync temporarily.
No, Voice Dream Reader cannot directly open DRM-protected eBooks. Most commercial books are encrypted and require their native apps. DRM removal tools may exist, but this is not supported by Voice Dream.
Another app may have taken over audio output. iOS prioritizes the foreground app for audio. To avoid this, keep Voice Dream in the foreground or use a premium voice like Heather or Sharon with Bluetooth headsets.
