Using the app is almost entirely free. However, if you want to use payment through the app, service fees may apply. The service fee is €0.35 per transaction.
Service fees are charged to cover the costs of using a certified and regulated payment partner (Pay.nl) for payment methods like iDEAL, Wero, and Bancontact. These fees ensure a fast, seamless, and secure payment experience.
You can reset your password by tapping the 'Forgot password' link on the login screen. Enter the email address associated with your account, and you will receive a password recovery email with a link to request a new password.
When you create an account, you will be asked if you want to link your bank account. You can link your Dutch or Belgian bank account by verifying it via iDEAL, Wero, or Bancontact. This verification costs a one-time fee of €0.35.
Go to Lists in the main menu and tap the blue plus button. Enter a list name, optionally add a list image, choose the list currency, and tap Next.
If a participant is already in your Splitser contacts, you can add them directly to the list. If not, share an invitation link via WhatsApp or another method. Participants can also be added anonymously by entering a name under List info.
Go to your list and tap the blue plus button on the Transactions tab. Enter a description, the total amount, specify who paid and who should contribute, and tap Save. You can also add a picture of the receipt and adjust the currency if needed.
To close your account, all balances on your lists must be 0. Go to Account > My Profile in the app or use the link http://app.splitser.com/account/delete on the website. You must be logged in to perform this action.
