Solarized Dark

Solarized is a sixteen-color palette designed for terminal and GUI applications, featuring eight monotones and eight accent colors. It emphasizes precise CIELAB lightness relationships and refined hues based on fixed color wheel relationships.

Solarized is available for various editors and IDEs such as Vim, Emacs, IntelliJ IDEA, NetBeans, TextMate, Visual Studio, and Xcode. It also supports terminal emulators like iTerm2, OS X Terminal.app, and PuTTY, as well as other applications like Mutt and GIMP.

Installation instructions for each version of the colorscheme are included in the subdirectory README files. For specific applications like Vim or Mutt, you may need to clone the specific repository.

Solarized offers selective contrast to reduce eye strain, supports both dark and light modes with consistent readability, and includes a 16/5 palette system for compatibility with various applications. It also ensures precision and symmetry in color relationships.
