FAQ
This error occurs if you are not the 'Owner' or 'Editor' of the sheet, or if you did not check the 'See, edit, create and delete all your Google Sheets' option when creating your account. You may need to revoke access to Sheety in Google Security and sign in again.
This error happens when Google blocks access to Sheety. To resolve it, sign out of Sheety, manually remove Sheety from your Google account via Google Security settings, and then sign back into Sheety.
This usually occurs if you try to add a Google Sheet that your Google account doesn't have access to. Ensure you're signed into the correct Google account or share the sheet with the account registered with Sheety.
Sheety expects POST requests to contain a JSON object nested in a root property named after your sheet. Additionally, you must set the 'Content-Type' header to 'application/json'. Check the docs for full examples.
Dates in Google Sheets are stored as serial numbers. To submit a date string as you would in the Google Sheets UI, append '?valueInputOption=user_entered' to the POST URL.
The v2-api.sheety.co URL is deprecated. You should replace it with api.sheety.co. While the v2 API will continue to work, it is recommended to update your projects to the new URL.
