FAQ
REKK records phone calls by using the 3-way conference calling feature provided by your mobile carrier. The app silently listens to the call and records what is said by both persons until you end the call.
The 'Merge Calls' button requires your mobile carrier to support 3-way conference calling. If it's not working, contact your carrier to enable this feature. Note that SimpleTalk and H2o Wireless do not offer this in the US.
You can make an unlimited number of recordings with REKK.
Go to 'Recordings' and select the recording that you want to listen to.
Yes, you can share recordings via SMS, Viber, WhatsApp, or copy them to Dropbox, Evernote, or Google Drive. Go to 'Recordings', select the recording, and tap the 'share' icon.
If your phone number changes, your recordings will remain attached to the account registered to your original phone number. To transfer them, email support@rekk.io. Ensure the 'Backup' feature was activated in your old account.
Yes, you will be charged for calling the REKK service number according to your plan and the country. The service numbers are provided in major cities.
