Try reinstalling VCam and choose to install the WDM driver. Then, use the 'e2eSoft VCam (WDM)' device in your application.
VCam supports Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, and 7, and requires DirectX 8.0 or higher. You also need administrator privileges to install it.
VCam supports common video formats like AVI, MP4, and WMV. If a video isn’t supported, install the correct codecs (e.g., K-Lite, ffdshow) or update Windows Media Player, Real One Player, or QuickTime Player.
Uncheck 'Show the' option in the Options dialog, set a smaller default video size (e.g., 176x144), or launch the application using VCam first.
Lower the capture frame rate in the Options dialog. The default is 15, but setting it to 5 can improve performance.
If the program allows camera selection, choose VCam. If not, disable other cameras in Device Manager under 'Imaging devices.'
Send the crash dump file to the support team for investigation.
