To add a TTS voice, open Narrator settings by pressing the Windows logo key + Ctrl + N. Under Narrator's voice, select Add legacy voices. This will take you to the Speech settings page. Under Manage voices, select Add voices. Choose the language you want to install voices for and select Add. The new voices will download and be ready for use in a few minutes.

Windows supports a variety of languages and TTS voices. For example, English (United States) includes male voices like David and Mark, and female voices like Zira. Other languages include Chinese, Spanish, French, German, and many more, each with specific male and female voices.

Narrator will announce when more natural voices are available. To install them, select Install now on the announcement window to go to Narrator Settings. Alternatively, use the hotkey CTRL + Windows + N to access the settings. Then, proceed to the Choose a Voice combo box, click Show All Settings, and select the Add button under Add natural voices. Choose the voice you want to install, and it will download and be ready for use in a few minutes.

Yes, you can preview natural voices of 10 new locales. After selecting a language, click the Next button to view compatible voices. The preview will play automatically as you navigate through the list.

Once the voices are downloaded, go to Narrator settings and select your preferred voice from the dropdown menu in Narrator's voice > Choose a voice.
