Keywords Everywhere

To install Keywords Everywhere, first install the browser addon for Chrome or Firefox. Then click the Keywords Everywhere icon (K) at the top right of your browser. If you don't see this icon, the addon was not installed correctly. Try uninstalling and reinstalling it. For the free features, no further steps are needed. To use the paid features, click the K icon, go to 'Update Settings,' enter your API Key, and then click 'Purchase Subscription' to buy an annual subscription.

Keywords Everywhere currently supports the English language extensively and the following locations: Global (All countries), United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and India. While there is a database for other Latin alphabet languages like Spanish, French, and German, they do not compare with the extensive English database. The database is constantly growing, so you may find volume data for queries in these languages.

To see volume data for these widgets, ensure that the checkboxes called 'Related Widget (Google & Bing),' 'PASF Widget (Google),' and 'Long-tail Widget (Google)' are enabled in the settings page.

Every time the extension retrieves volume data for a single keyword, one credit is used. This applies regardless of whether the keyword has any search volume. For Google searches, one credit is used for the main search query, and one credit for each keyword shown in the Related, People Also Search For (PASF), and Long-tail widgets. For example, if you see 8 keywords in the Related widget, 20 in PASF, and 25 in Long-tail, you will be charged 1 + 8 + 20 + 25 = 54 credits. For Google Search Console, credits are used based on the number of keywords shown on the page.

Keywords Everywhere values privacy highly. The browser addon sends your keywords to their server to retrieve keyword metrics, but your keyword data is never saved or used for any purposes other than showing you the keyword metrics. They feel uncomfortable having a third party monitor searches and assume you might have the same concerns.

You can reset your API Key by visiting the reset link and entering the email address you used to register. A reset link will be sent to that email address.

Search Volume is the average monthly searches for a keyword over the last 12 months. CPC is the cost advertisers pay per click in Google Ads. Competition indicates the number of advertisers running ads for a keyword, ranging from 0 to 1. Trend data shows the actual search volume for each of the last 12 months. SEO Difficulty indicates how hard it is to rank for a search query, with higher numbers meaning more optimized and authoritative pages.

Keywords Everywhere authenticates customers via the API key. When you purchase a subscription, it is associated with this API key. You can set up the same API key on multiple machines and use the same pool of credits everywhere.
