The Distributor versions allow you to directly import your Distributor's Order Guide, which lists all the products you purchase. The Standard version does not have this feature. Both versions are identical in all other ways.
Once you obtain your Distributor's Order Guide, you can import it into EZchef to update your inventory items and prices. This process can be repeated to add new products and update prices. Instructions for importing are included in the EZchef online documentation.
Yes, both the Standard and Distributor versions allow you to import inventory items from other vendors. You can use a Transfer Template to copy and paste data from Excel spreadsheets or vendor files. However, you will need to manually update prices periodically.

EZchef is not compatible with the Mac Operating System because it uses macros written for Windows Excel. However, you can run it on a Mac using virtualization software like Parallels with a Windows version of Excel installed.
