Daily tracks your time by periodically asking what you are doing, eliminating the need to toggle timers or take notes. This approach helps prevent procrastination and ensures you never forget to track billable hours.
Currently, Daily is only available for Mac. However, you can express interest in a Windows version by sending an email.
For licenses obtained via the Mac App Store, manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple's subscription settings. For business accounts, manage licenses via the Chargebee portal.
Apple supports PayPal as a payment method in multiple countries. Check Apple's article to see if it applies to you. If not, contact Daily's support for alternative arrangements.
Click the down arrow in the top bar of the dashboard to toggle between day, week, month, or year views. Use the left/right arrows to navigate, or click the displayed date to enter a specific date or range.
By default, Daily discards the time. To preserve time, go to Daily's preferences, click Dialog, and set Upon closing dialog to Preserve time.
Daily automatically syncs data via iCloud. For manual backups, run a specific Terminal command to create a zip file on your desktop. Restore by reinstalling Daily and ensuring iCloud is set up.
Click the red record icon on the dashboard, select Track time silently, and choose an activity and duration. Daily will not prompt you during this period.
