Yes, travel insurance is a requirement for traveling with Contiki. It must cover cancellation, personal injury, death, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, evacuation expenses, personal liability, and loss of personal property. Ensure your insurance also covers all activities you plan to do during the trip.
Luggage allowances depend on your destination and trip. For most European, North American, Australian, and New Zealand trips, you can bring one suitcase (approximately 29" × 20" × 10", max 20 kg) and one small hand/day bag. Latin America and Asia trips have stricter weight limits due to internal flights. Specific trips like sailing or trekking may have additional requirements.
International flights to and from your start/end point are not included and must be purchased separately. However, any flights during your trip (e.g., in Africa, Asia, Australia, or South America) are included in the initial cost.
