In v4, the plugin now only sends your page URL and plugin settings to our servers. Our servers then fetch everything they need directly using Cloudflare Workers, which are far less likely to be blocked by hosting firewalls. This makes optimization more consistent and reliable.
BerqWP v4 introduces two optimization methods: Local (free, runs on your server) and BerqWP Cloud (premium, requires a license, runs on BerqWP's cloud server). You can switch between them anytime from the plugin settings page.
Yes, BerqWP v4 supports staging site usage without it counting toward your license. Staging sites are automatically detected and excluded from your license usage count. Supported staging domain patterns include staging., .closte.com, .flywheelstaging.com, and others.
In v4, JavaScript Delivery Method has been renamed and now includes a 'Defer' option, which adds the defer attribute to all script tags. CSS Delivery Method has also been renamed, and there are new features like Delay Third-Party Scripts, separate exclusion fields for CSS and JavaScript, and toggles for Async Excluded Styles and Defer Excluded JavaScript.

Lazy Render Below the Fold uses the CSS property 'content-visibility: auto' to delay the browser from rendering content below the visible area of the page. This improves initial page render time and PageSpeed score by focusing browser effort on what the visitor sees first.
Yes, you can exclude specific images from lazy loading and lazy load iframes (including YouTube embeds and Google Maps). Images above the fold load immediately, while below-fold images/iframes load only when the visitor scrolls to them.
