No, you do not need to uninstall the previous version. Both versions can coexist on the same system. You can open an azzCardfile file with different program versions by selecting 'Open With' in Windows Explorer.

To transfer data, you need the azzCardfile installation file, your license file (azzCardfileLicense.txt), and your data files (.azzdb, .azzx, .azzx). After locating these files, run the installation file on the new computer, activate your license, and copy your data files to the new computer.

During installation, azzCardfile version 5 makes only one entry to the Windows Registry for .azzdb file type association. All settings for azzCardfile version 5 are stored in .ini files.

The license file (azzCardfile5-License.txt) was sent as an attachment to your email during registration. Check your inbox, deleted items, and junk mail folders. If you can't find it, search your computer for the file or search your emails for a subject containing 'azzCardfile License.'

You can activate your license in two ways: (1) If you have the license file, go to Help | About and click 'Import License File.' (2) If you received the license by email, copy the entire email text and paste it into the 'Paste License Text' button in Help | About.

The card count limit is approximately 2,000,000,000. However, if the card count is very large, some actions like adding a new card or pasting from the clipboard may take a long time.

After opening a file (.azzdb), a backup copy (something.azzdb.backup) is created in the azzCardfile Files\azzCardfile Backups folder. To restore, copy the backup file back to the azzCardfile Files folder and rename it to the original file name.

You can make the card text larger by clicking View | Zoom in or by turning the mouse wheel with the Ctrl button pressed.
