No, Air Explorer does not use external servers for managing files. Files are transferred directly between your local disk and the cloud server you choose. When transferring files between two servers, your computer acts as an intermediary, ensuring your files and configurations remain private.
When you first open Air Explorer, a window will appear to add your cloud server accounts. To add more accounts later, click the 'Accounts' button in the main menu and follow the prompts to add your login details for the desired cloud server.
To transfer files between clouds, first add your cloud accounts to Air Explorer. Then, open one cloud in one window and the other cloud in the other window. You can then use copy/paste, drag and drop, or the arrow buttons to move files between the clouds. The transfer progress can be monitored at the bottom of the program.
To encrypt files during upload, activate the 'Encrypt Uploads' button. When transferring a file or folder, you will be prompted to enter a password, which will be required to decrypt the file later. You can also schedule encrypted synchronizations between your computer and the cloud.
To exclude files from synchronization, you can either manually select the files in the synchronization tasks list and set the action to 'Do nothing' or configure exclusion rules using the 'Filter' button. Rules can include wildcards or regular expressions to exclude multiple files based on patterns.
