Memento uses the same database as the default Reminders app, so you can edit and view your reminders in either. Reminders sync through iCloud across your devices, and Siri-added reminders appear automatically.
iOS occasionally fails to fetch reminders properly. Force quit the app and relaunch it. On iPhones without a Home button, swipe up from the bottom and pause, then swipe the app away. On iPhones with a Home button, double-tap the Home button and swipe the app away. Once you re-launch, your reminders should appear.
Memento uses reminder list titles for identification. If you have duplicate list names, this can cause reordering issues. Rename your lists to unique names to resolve the problem.
You can long-press a reminder, swipe up, and select 'Change List.' Alternatively, use drag-and-drop in the Reminders tab. Minimizing lists first can make this easier.
Make sure Notifications and 'Location - While Using' permissions are enabled for Memento. Also check Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Location Based Alerts is set to On.
Memento saves your changes when you minimize the app. If you force-quit the app before minimizing, changes may not be saved. Keep the app running in the background after making changes.
Memento does not receive updates to reminders while in the background due to iOS limitations. The app uses Background App Refresh to check for new reminders. Make sure this setting is enabled in Settings > General > Background App Refresh.
This is caused by Exchange accounts syncing reminders, which disables proximity alarms system-wide. Disable Reminders sync for your Exchange account in Settings > Mail > Accounts > [Exchange Account] > toggle off Reminders.
