Filo Mail treats email as work, not just a stream of messages. It extracts asks, due dates, links, and next steps from emails and binds them to lightweight tasks you can act on immediately. The tasks stay linked to their source conversations, so context is always accessible. Filo also uses Smart Filters to separate important emails from promos and updates, and provides thread-aware summaries and an AI chat for pulling facts or drafting responses.

Filo Mail is free for personal use and includes AI features that cover daily email processing for most individuals. For power users, Filo Plus offers advanced AI models, unlimited AI usage, and early access to premium features. Filo Plus is available via public subscription or through special events or direct invites.

Filo Mail follows a privacy-first approach. It connects via secure OAuth, uses TLS for all traffic, and does not store raw message bodies on its servers. Content is processed on-device with an encrypted local cache. AI requests are handled through zero-retention endpoints, meaning only the necessary data for a request is sent and not used to train models. You can remove your data at any time.
