easyDNS has a strict account recovery process to protect against social engineering attacks. The process is designed to ensure only the legitimate account owner can regain access, though it may be challenging.
ENS integration allows you to use your domain names or hostnames as identifiers within the Ethereum ecosystem. This means you can reference your wallets, smart contracts, and other endpoints using a domain name.
To change your name servers, ensure that easyDNS is the registrar for the domain. Then, you can update the name servers through your easyDNS account to point to your web host or another DNS provider.
You can upgrade or downgrade your service level through your easyDNS control panel. There are no hidden costs or additional fees for service level changes, except for paying the prorated difference if upgrading. Ensure any pending invoices are paid.
You can add DNS service for a domain either from the easyDNS homepage (www.easydns.com) or from within your easyDNS account. Both options follow the same signup process.
Subscription blocks allow you to provide DNS service for a large number of domains at a discounted rate. They are available for all DNS service-only levels and come in groupings of 10, 25, 50, or 100 domains.
You can delete a domain from your easyDNS account, but this does not mean the domain no longer exists. The domain must run through its entire lifecycle and become available for public registration again to be completely deleted.
Cloning a domain allows you to copy the configuration from an existing domain instead of creating a new zone file. You can select the parent domain from a pull-down menu, but note that both domains must meet certain criteria before cloning.
